Then, in the afternoon, we will explore the magnificent university city of Oxford. The Cotswolds are an AONB, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is easy to understand as soon as you lay eyes on the stunning landscape. With quaint villages and patchwork rolling hills, the Cotswolds charms all its visitors. Stroll the peaceful streets as you admire the pretty stone cottages, or sip tea in cosy cafes. Your time in the Cotswolds will be like stepping back in time.

On this tour, we visit two villages. First is Burford, the Gateway to the Cotswolds. Second is Bourton-on-the-Water, the Venice of the Cotswolds.

As we travel between the villages through the Cotswolds, you can relax and admire the view and your guide will tell you stories about life in the English countryside.

Upon arrival in Oxford, you can go with your guide on a 45-minute walking tour through the heart of the city. This way, you can learn more about the history of the most famous sights and get to know the city. Your guide will also make recommendations about things to do and places to eat! We allow a minimum 2.5 hours in the city of Oxford, so you can fully immerse yourself in the sightseeing experience. There is so much to do, with famous university buildings like the Sheldonian Theatre and the Bodleian Library alongside places with links to Harry Potter, Narnia and Alice in Wonderland.
